Ayia Napa Triathlon (was 20-21 Mar 2021, now 31-31 Oct 2021) – rescheduled.
Ayia Napa Triathlon is our flagship event and traditionally is organized every March. Since 2014 the event has been the biggest triathlon event in Cyprus.
In 2020 we were forced to cancel the race entirely due to the general lockdown applied in Cyprus and hoped that everything will be back to normal by March 2021.
However, due to the current situation of COVID-19 in Europe, we have decided to move the event later in the year hoping that the conditions will allow the event to take place even with some restrictions and measures. The 2021 edition has been rescheduled to 30,31 October 2021.
All registered athletes of the Ayia Napa Triathlon 2021 and all deferred from 2020 event, will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled event. All athletes can also defer their registration to 2022 edition if they so wish. The exact date of the 2022 event will be announced later in 2021.
In preparation for the next event, Nireas Triathlon is carefully reviewing plans that will adhere to the situation surrounding COVID-19.
